ENTER Network was founded as one of the results of the International Project “EngineeriNg educaTors pEdagogical tRaining - ENTER” co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The ENTER Project aims to develop multi-level modular system for pedagogical training of engineering educators based on international network cooperation.
Surveys among employers, teachers, and engineering university students, as well as scientific periodicals analysis made it possible to determine the complex of universal and specific engineering and pedagogical competencies that educators should master not only for today, but also for the future needs. Consequently, a three-level modular program is being developed to provide these competencies (iPET programs). The first level corresponds to an advanced training for all the current educators. The second level is essentially a professional retraining, and the third level, aims to provide the training for an internationally certified educator of an engineering university.
