PORTFOLIO TEMPLATE

The main aim of Portfolio is to collect the evidence of your pedagogical experience to be provided as supporting document together with the application form.

The documents included in the portfolio do not need to be translated if they are available in the following languages: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Mandarin and Cantonese, Kazakh

All documents should be uploaded as ONE PDF file. 

Scan copies of the following formal documents are required to be included in the portfolio to evidence your educational background and current professional position:

  •  Higher Education degree(s) diploma(s)
  •  Any additional postgraduate diploma (s)
  •  Proof of employment (document confirming your employment including a current position in the indicated organization)

Please provide evidence demonstrating your competencies in the following domains:

A. Pedagogical competences (14)

1.        Innovation in Professional Practice Pedagogy

Description: Designs and delivers learning experiences that creatively combine theory with real business, administrative and legal practice (e.g. cases, clinics, simulations, projects).

2.        Time Management

Description: Manages time effectively across lectures/seminars, group work, simulations, supervision of projects/clinics and intensive assessment cycles.

3.        Effective Interaction

Description: Facilitates structured discussion, argumentation and negotiation around cases and professional dilemmas, ensuring all voices can contribute.

4.        Reinforcing Interactivity in Teaching–Learning

Description: Designs activities that require active decision-making (e.g. role-plays, debates, mock hearings, board meetings), peer feedback and collaborative problem-solving.

5.        Systemic and Strategic Analysis

Description: Helps students analyse organisations, markets, regulatory systems and legal orders as interdependent systems, linking micro-decisions to macro-effects.

6.        Pedagogical Psychology and Communication

Description: Applies basic principles of learning and group dynamics to manage discussions, handle disagreement, support diverse learners and provide constructive feedback.

7.        Stakeholder Interaction with Firms, Regulators and Courts

Description: Builds relationships with companies, public agencies, regulators, NGOs, courts and professional bodies to create authentic learning opportunities.

8.        Sustainable Development and Responsible Management / Governance

Description: Integrates topics such as business ethics, ESG, anti-corruption, corporate governance, human rights and rule of law into mainstream teaching and assessment.

9.        Digital Education and Data-Driven Decision-Making

Description: Uses digital platforms and professional tools (analytics, ERP, legal databases, e-filing systems) to support learning and develop data-driven decision skills.

10.        Problem/Project/Practice-Based Learning in Professional Contexts

Description: Designs and supervises projects, consulting assignments, policy briefs, business plans, simulated transactions or cases that mirror real professional tasks.

11.        Learning Outcomes Assessment

Description: Develops valid and transparent assessment methods for knowledge, analytical skills, ethical reasoning, communication, teamwork and professional skills.

12.        Curriculum Design

Description: Contributes to curriculum design and review, ensuring coherent progression, integration of theory and practice, and alignment with accreditation/professional standards.

13.        Professional Practice and Regulatory Integration

Description: Integrates professional standards, codes of conduct, regulatory frameworks and procedural rules into teaching activities across the curriculum.

14.        Lifelong Learning and Professional Development

Description: Models and encourages continuous professional learning, including awareness of changing regulations, business models and international developments.

B. Research competences (6)

15.        Scholarly and Professional Production

Description: Produces and disseminates research outputs in management, economics, public administration, law or related education fields, or recognised professional reports/opinions.

16.        Participation in Research and Consultancy Projects

Description: Participates in or leads research, consultancy or evaluation projects with firms, public bodies or international organisations.

17.        Methodological and Epistemological Competence

Description: Demonstrates proficiency in relevant research methods (quantitative, qualitative, doctrinal/legal analysis, comparative studies, case study research) and an understanding of their limitations.

18.        Research Communication and Knowledge Transfer

Description: Communicates complex research findings clearly to academic, professional and policy audiences, using appropriate formats (articles, policy briefs, expert reports, media pieces).

19.        Research Training and Supervision

Description: Supervises student theses, dissertations, research projects and capstone assignments, ensuring rigour, ethical conduct and relevance.

20.        Critical Thinking and Judgement

Description: Demonstrates and cultivates critical thinking, legal and managerial judgement and the ability to balance competing values and interests.

C. Management and motivation competences (5)

21.        Academic and Administrative Management

Description: Manages courses, programmes, accreditation documentation, assurance-of-learning processes and, where relevant, clinics or centres with efficiency and compliance.

22.        Leadership and Team Coordination

Description: Leads and coordinates teams of educators, practitioners, researchers and administrative staff in programmes, clinics, labs or centres.

23.        Motivation and Student Engagement

Description: Employs strategies to engage students in demanding analytical, numerical and interpretive tasks, and to support them through intense assessment and competitive environments.

24.        Institutional and External Engagement

Description: Contributes to institutional committees and actively builds partnerships with professional bodies, employers, alumni networks and community organisations.

25.        Professional Motivation and Commitment

Description: Demonstrates commitment to the professions associated with business, administration and law education and to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.

Examples of evidence that could be provided:

  • Certificates of trainings and professional development programs you successfully passed within the last 5 years (if there are too many upload 10 most relevant)
  • Certificates confirming your participation in the relevant events within the last 5 years (if there are too many upload 10 most relevant)
  • Certificates or other type of documents confirming your membership in professional associations, networks, societies
  • Evidence of relevant awards, scholarships, honorary titles, etc.
  • Evidence of application of certain methodologies, approaches, tools in your teahcing practice (digital tools, PBL, Education for Sustainable Development, etc.): extracts from your teaching materials, course syllabus and other.
