History

ENTER Network was founded as one of the results of the International Project ENTER 598506-EPP-1-2018-1-PT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The ENTER Project aimed to develop multi-level modular system for pedagogical training of engineering educators based on international network cooperation.

Surveys among employers, teachers, and engineering university students, as well as scientific periodicals analysis made it possible to determine the complex of universal and specific engineering and pedagogical competencies that educators should master not only for today, but also for the future needs. Consequently, a three-level modular program was developed to provide these competencies (iPET programs).

Inauguration of the ENTER Network and formal signing of the Memorandum of Understanding among its founding members took place on July 7, 2021.
