The ENTER Network President assumed the presidency of ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) in a public ceremony at the headquarters of the “Ordem dos Engenheiros Portugueses”, in Lisbon.
During this ceremony, the new ENAEE President assumed the commitment to work together with all the international accreditation agencies and other relevant institutions to assure excellence in the training of future engineers through program accreditation and engineering educators registering.
José Carlos Quadrado that now assumed the President’s position was elected in the last ENAEE General Assembly of 21st of October 2022 which took place in Poland and succeeds Mr. Damien Owens from Engineers Ireland, current IEA President.
The ENAEE currently integrates agencies from 22 countries. In the inauguration ceremony were present the directives from accreditation agencies from three continents and several countries, namely, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, France, Poland, Ireland, Peru, United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, Kirgizstan and Kazakhstan.
