In a significant step towards enhancing global engineering education, Dr. José Carlos Quadrado, President of ENTER Network, and Dr. Kseniya Zaitseva, Secretary General, have actively participated in the prestigious International Engineering Education Symposium 2023. The event, which took place from November 13 to 19 in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China, saw the convergence of numerous universities from China and other countries.
The symposium was inaugurated with a welcome speech by Mr. Wu Yan, the Deputy Minister of Education of China, setting a collaborative tone for the event. Highlighting the importance of international cooperation a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed with China Engineering Education Accreditation Association (CEEAA) to facilitate cooperation on conducting the assessment and registration of engineering educators.
Prof. José Carlos Quadrado delivered a compelling keynote speech titled "Achievements and Future of Engineering Education and Accreditation in Europe." His insights provided a comprehensive overview of the progress and prospects within the European engineering education landscape.
